International (District 1220)

Inter District Football Tournament,

 

RULES/POINTS OF INFORMATION

 

 

 

1.The winners of the DISTRICT STAGE will represent District 1220 in the

Inter-District Football Tournament Final to be held at St.George’s Park on Sunday 5th June 2016.

 

  2.   It is five-a-side tournament, but the squad can be up to ten.

 

  1. Players must be 11 years or under as at 31st August 2015 in either Mixed Teams

     Or Boys Teams and Girls Teams                 

 

      4.   The outdoor pitch size is 50 x 30 yards. Goals are 16 x 7feet and normal football

rules apply with the exception of ; rolling substitutions are permitted, no off-side

and duration of play and format will be determined when the number of participating teams is known.

 

5.The District knockout competition will take place in Burton upon Trent organised by Burton upon Trent RC in conjunction with Burton Albion Community Trust and the Burton Junior Football League. The competition winners will be selected to represent District 1220 and the runners-up as reserve for the Inter District Football 2016 Tournament at St George’s Park on Sunday 5th June 2016.

 

6. Players are to provide their own kit. Changing facilities are available if needed.

 

7.First Aid will be available but Football teams are advised to bring a First aider with them.

 

8.Whilst it is for each District to decide which Team(s) will represent them, it is the   spirit of the competition that community teams from Schools or Grass root Clubs will participate rather than “Professional” teams. (No development centre, Centre of Excellence or Academy teams).

            

9.The Burton upon Trent Rotary Club will deal with the affiliation of the competition to the Staffordshire FA.

 

10.All teams must be affiliate to either their County or Schools FA.
